A Busy Spring!

Hey Voelcker Blog followers! We have had a busy spring! Tyler turned 2 on March 6th. Grandma and Grandpa Carter came out for the festivities. It was lots of fun having them here!

Tyler is getting so big! He is talking...sort of...finally. The biggest factor in his sudden speaking abilities was the removal of his pacifier. He was such a big boy when he gave his pubbies to the Easter Bunny for his babies. He wants to be outside ALL the time and loves to play with his friends!

Allen went to Washington state in the middle of April. We made it through five weeks with no problems and then we went for 2 weeks to see him in Yakima. It was lots of fun. We got to visit with friends from Allen's mission as well as friends from Allen's teenage years. We got to see some really beautiful places such as Point Defiance Park, Leavenworth, WA, and the mountains between Seattle and Yakima.



Now that summer has encroahed upon our spring happiness it is going to be hard to spend time outside, but I have a feeling that with a wading pool and the patio umbrella we will make out just fine.

Hidey-Ho!

Wow! It has been almost a year since I have posted anything on our so-called blog. I have fallen prey to the assumption that everyone is on Facebook, and no one looks at my blog...not even me! So for the sake of doing it, I am doing it!

Hmmm....the last year....

Well, more currently, we are beginning fertility treatment again. We are starting slow so no injections or IUI are on the books as of yet. We are hoping to conceive with a more natural approach...that does include drugs of course, just not the kind that involve stabbing myself with a needle everyday. Thumbs UP!

Allen will be going to Yakima, WA in the spring for 2 months for work, so I'm am dreading spring for that reason, but I can't wait for it to come because I can't stand winter any longer!

Tyler is growing like a weed and he is SO smart! He doesn't talk much, but he can identify lots of stuff and makes some animal noises and some letter noises on command. I can't believe he will be two in a little more than a month now!

Since my last post, me and Tyler have been to Utah to visit 3 times...in April for Robbie and Brianna's wedding, in May for Aaron and Kerri's sealing to Elizabeth, and in October/November for the sake of going. Mom and dad are coming to visit us in March for Tyler's birthday.

Well, there is lots to tell, and many pictures to share, but I am out of time/energy! (I'm really just lazy) :)

As of Late

So, we have been more or less snowed in off and on for the last 2 weeks and we have taken some fun pictures of Tyler.
